Pets in B&W photo contest ~ Photography News

July 11, 2013 /Photography News/ Photography competition site PhoozL announces a special cash-prize photo contest: ?Pets in B&W?. This is a paid-entry ($10), judged contest where the Top 3 Winners share a progressive (growing) cash prize pool from the paid-entry proceeds. The judge is pro pet photographer and pet photo author Andrew Darlow. We love our pets! And we love classic B&W (or toned) photos. Now is your chance to combine both by submitting your best B&W pet photos.

Prizes:

1st Place:

? 30% of total entry proceeds* **

? Custom award icon for posting on sites, blogs, etc.

? Inclusion in the Winners Showcase and 35 PhoozL Points

2nd Place:

? 20% of total entry proceeds* **

? Custom award icon for posting on sites, blogs, etc.

? Inclusion in Winners Showcase and 25 PhoozL Points.

3rd Place:

? 10% of total entry proceeds* **

? Custom award icon for posting on sites, blogs, etc.

? Inclusion in Winners Showcase and 20 PhoozL Points.

+ three to six Honorable Mentions selected by the judge. They also receive award icons, PhoozL Points, and Winners Showcase display.

*After PayPal fees are deducted.?

**PayPal account required to accept cash prize payouts; any winners not accepting payouts will still retain their winner placings, award icons, and PhoozL Points.

Eligibility: Open to all photographers, amateur to pro, 18 yrs+, worldwide

Entry Fee: $10 (USD) for up to 3 submissions

Copyright & Usage Rights:

Entrants retain copyrights in their images, and copyrights will NOT be assigned to any other party, nor are there any Contest requirements asking Entrants to waive their copyrights. Entrants grant a royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, NON-EXCLUSIVE license to PhoozL to reproduce and display any Entry, and any other content submitted by Entrant, in connection with and promotion of the Contest.

Judging/Juror: The judge is pro pet photographer and pet photo author Andrew Darlow.
