Just days after Microsoft announced an internal reorganization aimed at improving its ability to compete, Microsoft founder and chairman Bill Gates took to the stage on the Microsoft campus in Redmond to talk innovation with a group of university researchers.
As the Puget Sound Business Journal reports, Gates was speaking at the Microsoft Research Faculty Summit, which brings academic researchers from computer science and other fields to the Microsoft campus to discuss ways the company can work more closely with academia.
